Recently, we had the absolute delight of hosting a baby shower so heartwarming, we’re still smiling from ear to ear. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and lots of sweet moments — all to celebrate the soon-to-arrive bundle of joy!
Here’s a peek into all the adorable details:
🌿 Theme: Locally Grown – A Baby in Bloom
With the big gender reveal saved for delivery day, parents-to-be Matt and Sarah chose a charming, neutral theme that felt like springtime in a greenhouse: earthy, sweet, and full of promise. "Locally Grown: A Baby in Bloom" set the tone for an event rooted in love.
🌼 Decor: From Farmers Market to Floral Fairytale
The venue was sprinkled with soft shades of sage, cream, white, gold, and fresh greens — think wildflower meadow meets cozy countryside.
Guests were greeted at the entrance table, where framed maternity portraits and fresh florals invited everyone in. A Bible lay open, waiting for guests to mark their favorite verse and sign their name next to it — a keepsake filled with blessings and love.
Nearby, a custom welcome sign and a charming farmers market stand stole the show with potted herbs, bright blooms, and colorful produce, perfectly tying in the “Baby in Bloom” theme.
Inside, round dining tables were dressed with crisp white linens and soft sage runners. At the center, glass milk-jug vases overflowed with daisies, baby’s breath, and cheerful yellow button poms. Gold cutlery and mason jar glasses sat alongside dainty plates holding the sweetest touch: packets of wildflower seeds for guests to take home and plant.
Of course, no shower is complete without a photo-op! A balloon arch and matching “Oh Baby” backdrop created the perfect nook for gift opening and memory-making. Sarah and Matt posed for photos here with family, friends — and the soon-to-be star of the show.

🍪 Sweet Treats Galore
Let’s talk dessert: a dreamy spread of treats tempted every sweet tooth. From custom-dipped Oreos and chocolate chip cookie bites to cupcakes, candied pretzels, and Rice Krispie treats on a stick — it was pure joy in every bite.
Above the dessert table, baby photos of Sarah and Matt, along with ultrasound images, hung clothesline-style alongside the tiniest pair of denim overalls you’ve ever seen. (Yes, we melted.)
🌸 Flowers: Simple + Sweet
Baby’s breath, white daisies, and button poms were the stars of the floral show, tucked into rustic milk-jug vases across the entrance table and dining spaces. Understated, elegant, and so very fitting.
📸 Snapshots of Love
Maternity portraits, baby photos of the parents-to-be, and glimpses of the little one via ultrasound were scattered throughout the space — sweet reminders of the journey that brought everyone together that day.

🌮 Food + Drinks: A Toast to Tacos
Guests helped themselves to a delicious taco bar, complete with all the fixings. To wash it down, there were self-serve stations with sweet tea, lemonade, and lemon-infused
water — light, refreshing, and perfect for mingling.
🎉 Games + Giggles
No baby shower would be complete without a few fun games! Guests tested their intuition by guessing the baby’s due date, cut yarn to match Sarah’s baby bump, and decorated wooden baby blocks with heartfelt messages and doodles. (Cue the awws.)

🌱 Party Favors: A Little Something to Grow
In keeping with the “Baby in Bloom” theme, guests took home wildflower seeds to plant — a tiny reminder of the day, and a sweet symbol of things growing in their own time.

This baby shower was more than just an event — it was a beautiful celebration of life, love, and new beginnings. We couldn’t be happier for Matt and Sarah as they prepare to meet their little one. Oh baby, what a day!
